Chicago Slaughter Indoor Arena Football Game!

Posted on Jan 24 2012 - 9:16pm

Just when you thought "the season" was over...  Football is back - indoor arena football that is!

Join us for a fast-paced, action-packed, high-energy-filled,

classic Chicago vs. Green Bay football game.

That's right, the Chicago Slaughter will be playing against the Green Bay Blizzard.

Who do you think will win?  Chicago's not scared of a little "blizzard" - they'll "slaughter" them!

SCUBA DIVING

Posted on Jan 23 2012 - 7:21pm

This Tuesday (Jan.24) really is the deadline for your scuba diving p-slip, waiver & payment.

If you are registered to attend either session, please turn everything in to Mrs. Kuhns at the troop meeting.

If you are still interested in this activity, but for any reason can't make it this time, please sign up on the waiting list.  If there is enough additional interest, we will set up another date.

Blue and Gold Cross-Overs are around the corner!

Posted on Jan 19 2012 - 10:59am

Scouts and Scouters,  February is Blue and Gold month for Cub Scout Packs.  Do you Remember Your Blue and Gold?  We will be asking for volunteers, adult leaders as well as Scouts, to help at Cross-Over Ceremonies.  It is an honor to represent your Troop and maybe a chance to see your old Pack as well!  Remember a Scout wears his class A uniform, complete with neckerchief and slide and clean pants in good condition.  Think of this like a Court of Honor.   Mr. Fu will be asking for volunteers in the near future.  This is fun and a good thing to do; for you, the Troop and the Pack!

A Record Breaking Snow-Sport Trip!?

Posted on Jan 15 2012 - 7:01pm

Terrific weather and a challenging slope & terrain park made for a really good Troop 151 trip.  NO trips to the hospital made this a record breaker!  The boys and guests had a wonderful time and are ready to do it again! Thanks to our stand-in Snow Sport Merit Badge Counselors Mr. Fu and Seth Geishecker.  (BTW Seth’s Class A may have been scooped up into your bag.  Take a look, please.  His name is in the shirt.)
